Ann was going to be on her own to see in the New Year, but she didn’t want a late night. So David and I collected her to share a Chinese take-away. We moved the clock forward a couple of hours, so that we could sing Auld Lang Syne before taking her home for an early night. This really appealed to Ann’s sense of humour!
